Practice for what comes next.
The Academy is being developed as a pathway to internships, college, employment and professional life. Students will rehearse real situations, learn from mentors and gain exposure to professional environments.

Working together for the whole young person.
Etiquette Etiquette Foundation and Community Advocates for Family & Youth (CAFY) are developing a collaborative program to support the personal growth and professional readiness of youth and emerging adults ages 14–24, with a planned launch in 2027.
The proposed collaboration will bring together CAFY’s life skills programming and the Foundation’s Opportunity Readiness Academy™, connecting self-awareness, decision-making, healthy relationships, and emotional regulation with professional presence, communication, career readiness, civic awareness, and cultural understanding.
Together, we are building a pathway that connects personal development with practical preparation for education, employment, and community life.We will share program details and participation information as plans are finalized.

A planned culminating experience – Spring 2028
The Diplomatic Spring Ball™
The Diplomatic Spring Ball™ will give participants a formal setting to put their learning into practice. Youth will demonstrate introductions, conversation, cultural awareness, public speaking, and dining etiquette alongside families, community leaders, and supporters.
The Ball will be held at the Willard InterContinental Washington, D.C. Planning is underway for April 2028, with May 2028 as an alternative. We will announce the final date and program details once confirmed.
