Behind every confident introduction, thoughtful conversation, and step onto the ballroom floor is preparation and practice.
The Diplomatic Spring Ball™ celebrates young people’s growth through the Foundation’s educational programs. Students come together with families, mentors, and community supporters to demonstrate etiquette, professionalism, cultural awareness, and respectful engagement in a formal setting.
Our planning goal is approximately 300 guests, including 60–100 youth participants. Final participation and capacity will depend on confirmed arrangements and available support.
Our Program
Opportunity Readiness Academy™
Preparing for the moments that matter.
The Opportunity Readiness Academy™ is the Foundation’s six-week educational program, helping young people build the confidence and practical skills to navigate academic, career, and social opportunities.
Through guided lessons and practice, students develop professional presence, communication skills, workplace etiquette, public speaking, and an understanding of career and civic engagement. Etiquette, diplomacy, and protocol guide how students learn to introduce themselves, interact respectfully, and navigate unfamiliar settings.
The Diplomatic Spring Ball™ provides a formal setting to apply and celebrate these skills. A separate preparation track focuses on dining etiquette, introductions, receiving-line protocol, cultural awareness, and waltz fundamentals.
Program schedules, participation requirements, and additional learning opportunities will be shared as arrangements are finalized.

Academy participation and Ball preparation have separate schedules and requirements. Details will be shared as arrangements are finalized.

For students and families
Who can participate?
Young people interested in participating will receive information about eligibility, the separate six-week Ball preparation program, and registration. Joining the Academy or CAFY pilot does not automatically reserve a place at the Ball.
Does Academy enrollment reserve a Ball place?
Ball participation is confirmed separately. Requirements and any costs are shared before commitment.
Can families attend?
Family ticket availability, pricing and registration details will be announced.
